Atlanta Wedding Photographer Sitll Shooting Film with Large Format Camera!
I hope that everyone has enjoyed the 4th of July weekend! I wanted to share that I am still shooting film. I have had the honor of shooting some wonderful pieces of history in the last couple of years. My latest projects have included documenting several buildings at Cape Canaveral NASA facility that were part of the Space Shuttle Program. I have always liked the quality of film and the challenge of shooting with a large format camera. I have been shooting with a large format Sinar camera with plenty of tilt and swing. They are capable of getting incredible detail and the film can be kept at the Library…

Photographing Wedding Dresses | www.atlantaartisticweddings.com
My we sure have been busy! I have done numerous weddings this year! I have photographed many wedding dresses. Every dress I photograph has a personality. I try to capture it in the photo. As you can see this dress has lots of details in the back of the dress. As with anything I photograph the first thing I look for is light. I want to capture it in the best light possible. I got the bride to stand in between the two corner windows and in front of the two mirrors. That way you can see the light cascading down both sides of the dress. The dress has a…

Great wedding at the Buford Civic Center! This is a great venue for your wedding! The staff are awesome! The venue has so much to offer. It has different size banquet rooms for any size wedding. The interior and can be spacious and still not loose it’s intimacy at the same time. I recently worked with Amy the wedding coordinator there and she was awesome! She was very attentive to the couples needs while still being a great hostess to the guests. She is a great person to have on your wedding team! As a photographer I just loved all the different opportunities that I had for photography. They have…

The perfect time in the evening for photographs
Hello everyone!Well I am back and I wanted to share a photograph that I took this weekend at an Atlanta wedding. There is such thing as timing when it comes to wedding photography. There are perfect times in the day and there are perfect times in the evening to get the best photos. This particular photo to me was taken at the best time of the evening with the best lights to compliment it. It was taken about 15 minutes after sunset. When the sun has gone down but still illuminating the sky with a deep blue. The other thing that makes this photo is the compliment of the warm light…
